The College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) receives funding through the Office of Migrant Education (OME), a branch of the U.S. Department of Education. The program serves students who come from a migrant and/or seasonal farm-working background. Services include outreach, mentoring/tutoring, workshops and financial aid assistance during the first year of school.
Additionally, CAMP participants are introduced to various concepts such as better study habits, university life, leadership, and community service.

The UTEP CAMP team looks forward to a collaboration with educators in the borderlands. Please contact our office to schedule a presentation for you and your students.
We are also happy to educate the community about the farm-worker movement and invite you to participate in our annual Farmworker Awareness Week, typically scheduled the last week of March.
